What an epoch is. Solana groups slots into epochs of 432,000 slots. At around 0.4 seconds per slot an epoch lasts roughly 2 days, but the exact length varies with network performance, which is why the boundary time above is an estimate.
Stake changes take effect at the boundary. Delegating, undelegating and validator switches queue up during the epoch and activate when it rolls over. If you are waiting for stake to activate or deactivate, the countdown above is the wait.
Rewards land per epoch. Staking rewards are calculated and paid at epoch boundaries. Liquid staking tokens also update their exchange rates against SOL on the same cadence, which is why LST yields move in steps rather than continuously.
Priority fees are per compute unit. A transaction bids a price in micro-lamports per compute unit on top of the base fee. The percentiles above summarize the per-block minimum fees the network recently accepted; they are a floor, not a recommendation, and busy moments can demand far more.
